What do we target?

  • GT

    The Giant Trevally is our favourite fish to target. However it is definitley the hardest to catch as we are at the southern range of habitats. BUT generally if we get one, they are BIG!

  • Spanish Mackerel

    We love Spanish Mackerel! We get a run of larger models during the cooler months, and during the summer months we will see more juveniles appear.

  • Mahi Mahi

    Depending on ocean current we can target Mahi Mahi year round. They are excellent sportfish as well as eating fish. They are great to target for people looking to get into the Topwater scene.

  • Snapper

    We love chasing Snapper when we can. Either jigging or using soft plastics we are happy to do either. It is a great way to begin the basics of topwater as we are casting lighter setups that don't fatigue the body.

  • Kingfish

    Whether it's Topwater or Jigging (predominately jigging) we love chasing Kings. These fish are powerhouses and will put some hurt on any angler that wishes to do battle with them. Not to mention they make great sashimi!
